
Jo Scholes is a Level 4 Specialist Personal Trainer with over 20 years of experience in fitness and Pilates based in East Hampshire and Surrey UK
I began my career in the early 2000s, training as a multi-disciplinary fitness instructor and yoga teacher. As my interest in helping clients prevent and recover from injury grew, I discovered Pilates and went on to complete my full Matwork certification with STOTT PILATES®.
Over the past 25 years, I have continued to deepen my knowledge by studying with a range of leading educators in classical, contemporary and clinical Pilates. My specialist training also includes orthopaedic conditions, women’s health, and Pilates for children and teenagers.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including health clubs, physiotherapy clinics and sports performance environments. I also worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at Dukes Meadows Academy, supporting elite junior tennis and golf athletes.
Today, I focus on teaching welcoming, community-based group Pilates classes, helping people of all ages and abilities build strength, improve mobility and move with greater confidence in everyday life.
